Sharp-tailed Grouse Photos

These guys are pretty common in the state, and you can see them at pretty much any time in the right habitat in the central and western part of the state. You have to admire the toughness of birds like this. I have photos below from near the Badlands where the temps were over 100 degrees, and also photos from the central part of the state when there was a foot of snow on the ground and temps were below 0.
