Olive-sided Flycatcher Photos

Photography by Terry Sohl

My Favorite: Olive-sided Flycatchers are a migrant in South Dakota, but not one that you see very often. I've never seen more than one at a time, most years I don't see any, and when I do see them, they do what Olive-sided Flycatchers do...sit on the highest perch around.  All of this leads to few photo opportunities! Fortunately I had one bird that was relatively cooperative, at the Outdoor Campus in Sioux Falls in May of 2019.
