Waxwing and Silky Flycatcher Photos

Bombycillidae and Ptilogonatidae Families

There are more tropical Silky Flycatcher species, but the Phainopepla is the only one found in the United States.  It's strictly a bird of the southwestern U.S. though.  Both waxwing species are found in South Dakota, with the Bohemian typically only found here in winter.
