Common Loon Photo

This photo was taken on June 20th, 2006 at Bald Lake, Alaska (near the town of Willow).  He's actually calling as this photo was snapped...look close and you can see the open mouth and the tongue.  Very cool experience to have a calling loon so close.  Taken with Canon 20D, 400 5.6L lens.
