Black-legged Kittiwake Photos
I've seen one of these near South Dakota...at Gavin's Point Dam one fall. I saw THOUSANDS at one time during a wildlife cruise off the coast of Seward, Alaska in the summer of 2006. Great experience to see all of these guys nesting on cliffs on offshore islands, along with Horned and Tufted Puffins, and Common Murres.
