Black-crowned Night Heron Photo

This photo of a Black-crowned Night Heron was taken on May 3rd, 2005 at Lake Thompson, Kingsbury County.  The only place I ever see these guys is up around the Lake Thompson  area.  This was just after the sun rose, right along Oldham Grade that cuts through the lake.  Taken with Canon 20D, 400 5.6L lens.
