This photo of a Bald Eagle was taken on January 17th, 2010 in Lyman County, South Dakota.  Many miles from water, yet a couple of dozen Bald eagles seen on this day in this area of Lyman County, thanks to the thousands of pheasants available for them to feed on.  Taken with Canon 50D, 400 5.6L lens.
