Bald Eagle Photo

This photo of three Bald Eagles fighting over a fish was taken on January 1st, 2007 below Gavin's Point Dam near Yankton, South Dakota.   You can see it much better on the full-res image, but if you look at the bottom right of the photo, you'll see that the fish ended up falling back into the water.  Curiously, all three then returned to the cottonwood tree they all liked to perch in, leaving none of them with a meal. 

There's a moral to this I guess!  Taken with Canon 20D, 400 5.6L lens.
