Bald Eagle Photo

This photo of a Bald Eagle was taken on January 1st, 2007 below Gavin's Point Dam near Yankton, South Dakota.   A group  of at least a dozen were hanging out right below the tailrace.  Occasionally one would venture off a perch and catch a fish, setting off the rest as they inevitably would fight over it.  Tried like heck to get a good in air photo of two more more birds fighting over a fish, but that didn't work out.  I'll take nice flight shots of single birds any day though.  Taken with Canon 20D, 400 5.6L lens.
