American White Pelican Photo

This photo of an American White Pelican was taken on May 14th, 2004 at Lake Thompson.  There were at least a few thousand of these guys scattered around Lake Thompson and the surrounding area.  I thought this "get the heck out of Dodge" shot was kind of neat.  Taken with Canon 300D, 70-200 4.0L lens with 1.4x extender.
