American Kestrel Photo

This photo of a male American Kestrel leaving a nest box after just feeding its young was taken on August 13th, 2009 at a friend's house north of Garretson, South Dakota.  Not the greatest photo in the world, with him flying into the shade, but it was the end of this feeding sequence of shots. Taken with Canon 50D, 400 5.6L lens.
