My Favorite: The photo below of a pair of Common Murre was taken on June 6th, 2009 off the coast of Newport Oregon. For a midwestern guy, I don't get a lot of chances to take pelagic biding trips.  This was taken on a wildlife cruise on a gorgeous sunny day, and is a favorite for the memory of the experience as much as for the Murres themselves.
