This was taken on May 7th, 2008 on the outskirts of Tucson, Arizona. This guy gave my heart quite a surprise when he casually stepped out of the brush right in front of me. This was the first Bobcat I've ever seen, and he was a big boy, certainly bigger than I expected a bobcat to be. He just stared at me for about 5 seconds before slowly slinking off through the brush. Taken with Canon 20D, 400 5.6L lens.
