Nature Photography - Done Naturally

Sunflower Sunset

This was taken in August of 2004 in Lyman County.  A large storm rolled through right before sunset as I drove back from a trip to Pierre, and I was fortunate enough to come across a beautiful sunflower field just as the setting sun was breaking through the remains of the storm.  I just wish I could do justice to the scene!  I didn't have the filters or anything to allow me to get a better exposure on both sky and flowers.
