Sonoran Desert Landscape #2 - Cristate Saguaro

This photo was taken on September 10th, 2006 on the outskirts of Tucson, Arizona.   The top of this saguaro shows a "cristate" formation, a relatively rare anomalous growth pattern that a few saguaros represent.  Photo taken with Canon 20D, 17-40L.
