Spotted Towhee in Song

I'm always amazed at the difference in bird behavior from one location to another. Many species that are quite shy in South Dakota are quite approachable elsewhere. This Spotted Towhee was taken on the coast of Northern California. I was able to walk right up to him and take his photo, while he continued to sing away.
