Another species that you can approach so much more closely in Yellowstone than you ever could in South Dakota. A very common sight in South Dakota, I've occasionally been close to them in the state, but never with the animal being so calm and photogenic as they are in Yellowstone. This guy was foraging in a sagebrush flat in the Lamar Valley in the northeast corner of the park.
