I don't shoot things other than birds all that often, but sometimes opportunities arise that are far too good to pass up. During the summer of 2016, we took family driving vacation that included Teddy Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota, Banff National Park in Canada, and Glacier National Park in Montana. In Glacier National Park we were hiking on a beautiful sunny day in a high alpine meadow when we came across a group of Mountain Goats. They were feeding on the flowers and grasses, paying little attention to hikers, and offering some great photo opportunities. Here's an adult in beautiful condition walking through a field of flowers on an absolutely perfect afternoon.
