Lark Sparrow

OK, I admit it. I dig sparrows. There are so many cool kinds of sparrows, with such beautiful plumages, including the Lark Sparrow shown here. Don't really like photos much that are in the shade, but I do like this one for the bird, the pose, and the unusual perch of a big piece of quartzite in Perry Nature Area near Sioux Falls.
