Male Costa's Hummingbird

We just LOVE Arizona for vacation, especially the Tucson area.  For me as a birder, what I love most are the Sonoran Desert birds that I obviously can't get in South Dakota, and then all the unique birds that sneak their way across the border, in places like Ramsey Canyon or Madera Canyon.  And of course, there's the hummingbirds.  This little guy was taken within the city limits of Tucson, at Tohono Chul park, right at the entrance to the visitor's center!
