Bicolored Striped Sweat Bee

Agepostemon virescens

Why I don't pull out my macro lens more often baffles me sometimes.  Insects, spiders, and other little critters are 1) always around (in summer), 2) are usually abundant, and 3) don't have a tendency to fly away NEARLY as much as birds do.  This was must first day testing a new camera, a Canon 90D.  I took it to a local arboretum and had a blast finding and shooting little critters like this gorgeous tiny creature, a Bicolored Striped Sweat Bee. From September 2019.
