Ross's Goose
Another great example of using digiscoping to capture photos of that rare species. Ross's Goose may not exactly be the Whooping Crane of rare birds around here, but they're greatly outnumbered by their cousins, the Snow Goose. I was delighted to run across a small group of Ross's amongst the common Snow Goose, and took advantage of the situation by documenting it with my digiscoping setup. Equipment was Swarovski AT80 HD scope, Nikon Coolpix 4500 digital camera.
