Ring-billed Gull

The Gyrfalcon was the one that really got my blood boiling about digiscoping, but this was one of the shots on my very first day trying out my new equipment.  It was a nice November day, with blowing leaves everywhere.  I came across a large group of gulls on the beach at Wall Lake, and tried to figure out how to get a decent photo from the mass of birds.  This immature Ring-billed Gull separated himself from the group, and thanks to the blurred background you always get when digiscoping (you generally have a very narrow depth-of-field when digiscoping), I was able to isolate this guy somewhat from the mass of birds behind him.  Equipment was Swarovski AT80 HD scope, Nikon Coolpix 4500 digital camera.
