Killdeer

Killdeer, despite being so common, are quite beautiful. Gotta love that eye, and it was nice to capture that lovely orange feathering you usually only see as they fly away from you.  Equipment was Swarovski AT80 HD scope, Nikon Coolpix 4500 digital camera.
